Raspi is short for and is a Raspberry Pi. Originally I wanted to use it as a BitTorrent client, but the Midori web browser was too annoying to use and Chrome shot the ARM processor up to 100%, so I had to give it up.
The Raspi is the "B" model, though the first generation before they added the mounting holes. Kinda wish they added the mounting holes in the first place, it would have made mounting the Raspi a lot easier.
I might turn it into another NAS - for transferring files between machines and to keep the read/write counts low on the main NAS - but the ethernet is 10/100 and not gigabit (not to mention I'd have to use an external USB hard drive). For now though, it'll sit there until I figure out some sort of use.
