Shizuma

Shizuma is a late 2008 MacBook Pro, which took me a bit of time to name her after Hanzono Shizuma of Strawberry Panic! as she had that sort of "presence" (I'm not exactly sure if I can really describe it better).

After playing WoW for a few months (out of boredom), Istarted having CPU/GPU issues, and from what my best friend told me later on, the logic board was bad and I can have Apple replace it for free. It sounded like a good idea, but I just didn't have the motivation when I had already "retired" her and was using it as a sort of "desktop". Her battery also began to bloat, so I took it out and kept it to the side, since I didn't want to fork over the hundred-something dollars to replace it.

It was when Shizuma's hard drive made a click noise (did it more than once) that I decided it was time to begin retiring her, since I didn't really have the money to buy another hard drive to clone Shizuma's to (I had done it a couple times before that).

At some point, my best friend needed a computer, so I lent it to him, but his girlfriend's dad swiped it from him at some point - it's a bit upsetting, but I feel it's not worth the hassle to get it back.
