Well, I'm "working" on a computer cluster, but I require a bit more knowledge on how it all works (along with a little more tinkering). I've successfully got the cluster up and running with PelicanHPC, but seeing how Pelican is only a live Linux distro, it doesn't make it much easier.
For now, it's sitting in the corner of the closet until I come to a better understanding on how to use it and what exactly I can do with it beside "higher" level computation. Not to mention, I'd like a persistent install so I can actually install some programs that may allow me to utilize the cluster (or at least see if it will run in a cluster instead off of one processor).
I did find some Linux distribution called RockClusters or something like that (I don't feel like looking it up), but the disk failed to boot, so it's part of a super-glued disk (yes, I do get that bored sometimes).
One of the other things I forgot about is that I also need a USB WIFI stick so it can access the internet. I might be able to use a low-profile PCI card, but I highly doubt it (I don't feel like digging the stuff at the moment). But since I'm tight on money at the moment, it's quite low on the priority list, so it's going to have to wait. I still have to learn a bit more about Pelican anyway.
